It's not about enforcing the laws, it's about power and control. There are so many laws, often contradictory, that everyone breaks laws every day. And large companies are forced to break one or more laws to even stay in business. Prosecutors now have the ability to make an example of anyone because there is some obscure law they've broken. And it's because government has gone beyond dealing with those who harm others, and now government protects us from ourselves. The right solution is to get government out of the "regulation" (control is more accurate) business. It's not money corrupting politics, it's politicians corrupting commerce for campaign cash, at our expense and our economic liberties.
