Routine requests for increased security by diplomatic posts most lokely are not something that would go that far up the chain of command, but direct attacks on US installations damn well better go straight to the top. The fact that there was an attack is not Obama's fault, but the indifference to taking precautionary measures prior to it and the mad scramble to deflect blame after bot rest directly at the feet of the POTUS.

actually, the attack on the Libyan consulate IS a direct result of Comrade Hussein using US military power to help the rebels depose Khaddfi, thus allowing al-Qaeda freedom to operate in Libya.
They would not have been able to do so under Khaddfi.

Proglodytes made a big whine about Bush removing Saddam, who allegedly kept Iran in check[he didn't],but are fine with Comrade Hussein helping depose Khaddfi and Mubarak, who actually DID keep their radicals restricted.

Harry Truman had a sign on his desk proclaiming what became his motto; "The buck stops here!" Obama and Biden seem to have turned that completely around; "It's not my fault!"

Even before last Thursday's VP debate, you had to notice the inconsistencies, confusion, even lies coming out of the Obama Administration over the last month following the assassination of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans in Benghazi, Libya on September 11.

After Biden's debate "performance" last week we're left wondering, "Which is it?" Do we have the most incompetent intelligence professionals imaginable or the best in the world?
