2012 is said to be the hottest year on record, but that record only covers a miniscule fraction of the planet's history. Weather records from the mid 19th century thru the late 20th We only have about 45 years of relatively complete sattellite data. Believing that 45 years of data can be extrapolated over 4.5 billion years is a joke. The AP reported that US CO2 emissions during 2012 were at a 20 year low. No one can say why for sure, but the most likely explanation has to do with warm temps reducing fossil fuel use for residential heating. It's known as a negative feednack loop, something which s cannot comprehend.

"Believing that 45 years of data can be extrapolated over 4.5 billion years is a joke."

Couldn't have said it any better myself.

Here’s my challenge to all the global warming apologists:

Explain to me why the “settled science” of global warming has to manipulate headlines to make information appear scarier and more threatening than the actual data shows.

If global warming is so settled, why do you and your friends take the opportunity to exaggerate, obfuscate and slant every piece of news that comes out to make it seem relevant to today?

You can see an example of this in the headlines below:

Climate Change Main Contributor to Corn Volatility, Study Says” writes Bloomberg-BusinessWeek.
