I think that quote goes to Rahm Emmanuel.
I can't believe that I agree with you. Look how the left villified President Bush... I think he did the right thing with a quick pop in and out - in the wake of the devastation we don't need his entourage pulling needed personnel and further jamming roads. Gov. Christie also was right to embrace the pres. he is the gov. of NJ and has to do what's right for the people of NJ not just the Republicans. Finally, donate to Catholic Charities in NY for Hurricane relief - they have boots on the ground and they don't have 70 cents on the dollar going to administrative costs ala the Red Cross. To get back on topic- Great column John!
First... under Obamacare and with no tort reform good luck managing your student loans, paying malpractice insurance and having anything left over. College tuition costs have risen dramatically - largely due to an influx of government money by the way. I am sure that while you have been paying a great deal of money in your tuition, you weren't paying a great deal in taxes. The point is that Mitt's return on investment (what he has gotten from the government in return for the great quantities he paid into the system in income taxes) are far lower than yours in your education. Nice try but it's not the same and you know it.

He was going to have a transparent admin, too. All legislation would be posted before passing so that the American people could review it. He would work across the aisle (uh, John, I won... the Republicans can come along for the ride but they have to be quiet and sit in the back... racial divides would be healed - the beer summit came about because of his conclusion jumping and if he had a son he would look like Trayvon. And the piece de resistance: he's the most intelligent man in the room - PROVE IT. Why won't he release his academic records?) We WERE conned.

SU-u-u-u-r-r-e...let's go back 16 years or so. With the obstructionism in Washington and the coarsening of our culture, and the expense involved - it's a futile act. Just like trying to get the truth out about Benghazi. Conspiracy theory 1: The current administration wanted Stevens to be captured so they could exchange him for the blind sheik; Conspiracy theory 2: The current administration wanted Stevens to be killed so that he could never reveal that he was brokering deals for weapons with the muslim brotherhood that later were used against US forces ala Iran-contra. It all depends on what the definition of "is" is. Unfortunately, people on both sides of the aisle have too many skeletons and too much power to truly be taken down.

Read some books on the economy by Peter Schiff. There was PLENTY that he could have done if he A. was as smart as he thinks he is/ as he's been told he is and B. listened to people who are as smart as he thinks he is/ as he's been told he is.
Objecting to policies that make our country less safe, less competitive and likely to fail does NOT equal racism. President Obama campaigned on bringing our country together and then proceeded to tell Republicans they could come along for the ride but they had to sit in the back - translation: you may vote FOR our policies but you may not offer any ideas to enhance or tweak them. Remember when John McCain offered suggestions and Obama's response was, "Uh, John, I won." IF white men were against him maybe it was because he was arrogant and divisive. If only black people had voted for him, Obama wouldn't have become president. Get over the racist memes... Obama's presidency is a disaster and a failure because of his policies not his race!
Obviously for Kmassey the truth hurts. Obama had a filibuster proof majority in congress and instead of taking care of business he co-opted Hilary's pet project and got obmacare passed. He has no new ideas and without the teleprompter is not even well spoken. Obama's attacks against Romney receive more pinochios from fact checkers than Romneys against Obama. Obama has not done a good job. He watched in real time while 4 Americans were killed in Libya and then lied over and over to the American people. He has no ideas. The businesses he backed with OUR money have gone under and now he has to GO!
You can't be serious. I think I would find being a victim exhausting. We gave President Obama a shot. He was inexperienced and unwilling to learn or do what he said - work with the opposition and heal our country. He hasn't had the most transparent administration and his record is abysmal. Unfortunately, too many people have told him how wonderful he is without grounding him in reality - can you say "participation trophies" anyone? Reality hurts and reality says that he, his policies and the people he has chosen to surround himself with has failed miserably.
