Bill Bennett Takes On Glenn Beck
Does it ever get to you, arguing with people like Munck? Sometimes he gets under my skin, and I know I shouldn't let him."
I don't often argue with Munck.
Anyway, on to the polling data from the election on Palin:
CNN/Opinion Research Poll, Oct. 30 - Nov. 1 2008
Has the qualities and leadership personality a president should have:
McCain: Yes - 62%, No - 38%
Palin: Yes - 37%, No - 63%
Agree or disagree on the issues that matter most to you?
McCain: Agree - 46%, Disagree - 54%
Palin: Agree - 42%, Disagree - 56%

I completely agree with you that times are changing. Health care overhaul didn't have majority support a couple months ago, and Obama's approval ratings were lower than they are now. Support for both is rising, not lowering.
But go ahead, give me some anecdotal evidence about how the "American people" are fed up with it all 'cause you and yours happen to be. I'll keep sticking with actual data.
Diminishing the Presidency?
The rest of your rant aside, this right here reminds me of why the reading comprehension section of the SATs is so important.
VICTORY
I have no idea what a "colliquoy" is, and apparently, neither does Firefox, but leaving that aside, I HAVE heard of a majority of a population supporting slavery, segregation, the notion that the earth is flat, the notion that the sun revolves around the earth, etc.
Popular opinion is far from always correct. Only the most craven sort of idiot would truly believe that just because the majority thinks something it must be true.
But I already knew that about you, arch.

when we've got bin Ladin's head on a pike. Not before, and about one second after. There's no other reason to be there. Country building? What country?"
He's not there. He WAS there during Tora Bora, when we wouldn't let Delta and SAD pull the trigger on him, but he's long since gone.

I *hope* you will back up your claim -- for a *change*.
As Jesus said "Turn the other cheek" - so kiss my gluteus maximus."
Well, as you yourself have demonstrated you would say: perhaps there's a "fluctuation" in the truth of his statement, but I see no out-and-out lie.
