They're forgotten for a reason. Just like witch burnings.

Yeah, you're aware that the GOP can't do any of that with a House majority alone, right? Get ready for two years of seeing absolutely nothing done. Oh, except for trying their best to push "Christian conservative" social legislation.

Action, action, action that can't get past the Senate. And with the Tea Party proudly waving the flag of victory today, guess who's going to get the blame for not accomplishing anything in two years? Maybe some of these "we the people" outsiders should have bothered to figure out how the legislative process works before promising the moon to the rest of the ignorant.

"No need, unless you really want to. I'll find it otherwise.

Does it ever get to you, arguing with people like Munck? Sometimes he gets under my skin, and I know I shouldn't let him."

I don't often argue with Munck.

Anyway, on to the polling data from the election on Palin:

CNN/Opinion Research Poll, Oct. 30 - Nov. 1 2008

Has the qualities and leadership personality a president should have:

McCain: Yes - 62%, No - 38%
Palin: Yes - 37%, No - 63%

Agree or disagree on the issues that matter most to you?

McCain: Agree - 46%, Disagree - 54%
Palin: Agree - 42%, Disagree - 56%

CBS/NYT Poll, Oct. 25 - Oct. 29, 2008

Do you think Sarah Palin is prepared for the job of...
"the culture wars are still alive among conservatives, my friend. As well they should be. Our struggle is not just a political one, but a cultural one."

You a David Duke fan by any chance, Cissy?

"Times are a changing buddy. Just wait your messiah is in trouble."

I completely agree with you that times are changing. Health care overhaul didn't have majority support a couple months ago, and Obama's approval ratings were lower than they are now. Support for both is rising, not lowering.

But go ahead, give me some anecdotal evidence about how the "American people" are fed up with it all 'cause you and yours happen to be. I'll keep sticking with actual data.

The rest of your rant aside, this right here reminds me of why the reading comprehension section of the SATs is so important.

"Absolutely right Molotov. Ever heard the colliquoy That a billion Chinese cannot be wrong?"

I have no idea what a "colliquoy" is, and apparently, neither does Firefox, but leaving that aside, I HAVE heard of a majority of a population supporting slavery, segregation, the notion that the earth is flat, the notion that the sun revolves around the earth, etc.

Popular opinion is far from always correct. Only the most craven sort of idiot would truly believe that just because the majority thinks something it must be true.

But I already knew that about you, arch.
"We go home
when we've got bin Ladin's head on a pike. Not before, and about one second after. There's no other reason to be there. Country building? What country?"

He's not there. He WAS there during Tora Bora, when we wouldn't let Delta and SAD pull the trigger on him, but he's long since gone.
"Lies
lies, and more lies.

Name who wants to "over turn" the republic? Who has said they do NOT want ANY gov't in America??

I *hope* you will back up your claim -- for a *change*.

As Jesus said "Turn the other cheek" - so kiss my gluteus maximus."

Well, as you yourself have demonstrated you would say: perhaps there's a "fluctuation" in the truth of his statement, but I see no out-and-out lie.
