The vote was NOT on the jobs bill. The Republicans attempted to attach the content of the jobs bill to a Chinese currency bill, in a silly parliamentary maneuver. The Democrats countered with another silly parliamentary maneuver. Only the most partisan hacks on either side are trying to make anything else out of it.
