Since children are the point of marriage, then infertile couple marriages should not be honored. What if a straight couple by choice doesnt want children? Should the couple not get married?

We are not a Christian nation. We are one of the few (if not the only) Western society without 'God", 'Jesus', or any other Christian-specific terms in our Constitution. This was intentional. Many of the key founding fathers were anti-clerical/agnostics. They drew many ideas from the enlightenment era and humanist principles. Many Christians have contributed tremendously to this country, and at times the church was the foundation of many communities, but the government has no right to endorse one religion over others. A national day of prayer would be in violation of this.

Normally Dr. Williams' articles are much clearer than this (except for his strange facination with smoking regulations). Maybe a bad week?
