What strikes me as odd is the fact that abortions to terminate a rape-caused pregnancy are such an incredibly small proportion of abortions (<1%), and yet this extreme example is what we are allowing to take center stage in our debate about abortion. Millions of unborn babies have been horribly murdered because of convenience, and yet the few that have been rape related are driving the issue. Something is wrong in all this.

Agreed, Now ask yourself WHY that is the case. How many children could be saved by deferring the argument on the rape exception until after the majoriry of abortions are cutoff?

Recently, Ann Coulter wrote a controversial column suggesting that numerous Republican losses in the 2012 election cycle could be tied to the GOP stance on abortion. After lamenting the problem, she suggested a solution: the GOP should officially abandon its opposition to the so-called rape exception to a ban on abortion.
