All of what Ms. Doan said is true, and also irrelevant to her argument: Obama Has Already Lost. He was an empty suit with no accomplishments and an anti-American, racist minister the first time around, yet he still won. If we underestimate Obama, four more years of calamity (and perhaps the permanent crippling of our nation) will be the prize for our arrogance and hubris.

On April 30th in 1789, at Federal Hall in New York City, George Washington took the oath of office to become the first president of the United States. He took that oath amidst a widespread surge of popularity and consensual respect that has yet to be replicated in any subsequent presidential election in this country.
