Hispanic citizens: Democrats opened the borders in 1965, and squeezed them further open through subsequent laws. Do you imagine that this has helped you? Your wages have been depressed by the competition of hordes of unskilled "undocumented" aliens. Your reputations have been besmirched by this influx as sensible people consider the numbers and now "profile" you. Your reputations have been further eroded by the rampant crime among these new arrivals. You have been systematically discriminated against by the unions -- all Democrat controlled. Activists in your "community" want to return large parts of this country to Mexico -- from which you and your ancestors escaped. Democrats sneer at your strong Catholic faith and abort your babies.

Liberals brag about having won the hearts and minds of America, as if, through logic and argument, they've persuaded people to accept their bankrupt European socialist ideas.

Democrats haven't changed anyone's mind. They changed the people.
