A Moral Question for the GOP

Ms. Chavez misses one of the larger points. We are the overflow for Mexico. The unhappy, dissatisfied and unemployed in that country come here. Until that overflow is stopped, Mexico will have no reason or manpower to clean their own house/country. Far from being humanitarian, providing refuge for millions of dissatisfied Mexican citizens extends the power of the corrupt in that country causing untold suffering and death. On another point: I once thought that we could allow a shortcut to citizenship for military service, but I now believe that loyalty to country should be proven in citizenship before a man takes up arms for our country. We don't need an army of people with questionable loyalties.
This doesn't play as sarcasm and it is very dangerous talk. For anyone who doesn't understand why it seems so dangerous, ask yourself who would decide what dangerous thoughts and speech would prohibit gun ownership. I want to say that he is being sarcastic but he never confirms that in any way.
Byron didn't dig deep enough. I've read parts of at least 5 Supreme Court rulings that defined for other purposes the Natural Born citizen as having both parents being US citizens at the time of birth. The purpose was clearly to prevent us from having a president with split loyalties or one with parents residing outside of the United States where a threat upon them could influence policy. If Rubio doesn't qualify, he doesn't qualify. I think it much more important to stick to the Constitution than to nit pick at it to try and serve our own political purpose. As for the birthers, grow up. The birther argument is promoted by Obama's own people as a distraction. It's working. No one takes the citizen argument seriously because of it.
