I honestly don't see teen unemployment as by-product of the economy as much as I do a by-product of a failed society. As one of those 'older' workers I've witnessed the poor work habits of many teens. A lot of them, and I mean a lot of them, think that all they have to do is just to clock in to get a paycheck. They don't want to work. They want things handed to them so they can spend more time playing video games, buying pot or liquor. I can't blame them though when I see their parents doing the very same thing. We have a society coming up that want entitlements not rewards for their labors. The concept of 'earning' something is alien to them. So why go looking for a job when someone is supposed to give things to you? This is the future.
Is this what a whiny Democrat looks like?
