Your last line is PERFECT John Ransom because fixing things for our lives requires US to take action ... not government! Republican actions and/or Dem actions are BOTH wrong. Concomitantly, they would be Dem voters in order to get the freebies that come with wealth redistribution. 1. Ted Cruz has it right ... no votes EVER for the illegals. If the Dems are really interested in getting these people out of the "shadows" (Ha Ha), then they should support Ted's suggestion. 2. Close the borders ... especially the southern one. 3. Adjust our immigration quota system .. favor countries where entrepreneurial thinking thrives and the population is highly educated ... lower the quotas for countries likely to house terrorists.

Thank you John Ransom. Maxine Waters heading Finances in the House would be nothing short of a catastrophe! That possibility itself should be good enough reason to absolutely not allow the Dems to take control of the house.

@rigby I think you missed something more basic ... America is being overrun by government. My young Chinese wife is fiercely anti Communism ... she lived through Communist government in China. "America is being overrun by Hispanics and blacks." because Leftist government bought their souls ... blame Leftist government for that.

What we need is a large COALITION of nations to proclaim that we are ALL at war Radical Islam. After all, radical Islam has declared that are at with ALL of us. That they are at war with only America and Israel is a transparent myth.

Dr. Williams' article brings to mind that much of the lack of scholarship among blacks can be attributed to the push into sports and entertainment ... good money, but no brains required.
