I live in my county of choice because , among a few reasons, I am retired and over 65. I do not have to pay school tax. Most teachers are opposed to the senior discount--it blocks a source of revenue to help in union negotiations for pay increases. That ties in to unions who tell the teachers to oppose the tax break for retired seniors, Aren't we all so nice when it comes to extorting money from others?? For the hard of reading, that was sarcasm.

If you read me regularly, you’ll know that there are very few things that I feel strongly about ;-). I’m kind of a wilting violet in print, who tries hard not to impose his views on readers. Instead, I paint words pictures of objective fact, interlaced with strongly-reasoned logical progressions that allows readers to form their own opinions unguided by me. (Take a deep breath here, and clean the coffee off your nose, chin, lips and computer screen)
