We are suffering a national Stockholm Syndrome. And for no good reason.

I find it hard to believe that in the last four years, many nice people I know, fail to recognize the great harm done to our country by the incumbent and his administration. Then I watch "man in the street" interviews by Leno or Waters and I begin to understand. The Eloi are her. H G Wells was not writing fiction. What a nation of fools we are! What a continent of fools Europe is. It is hard for me to understand why people adopt a guilt feeling over events of the past , even when they are being taught how evil we were by today's Howard Zinn teachers.Most of our youth do not even know who is president or anyone in Congress. Come on EMP!!!!

McCain "Will No One Rid Me of this Troublesome Priest". Arizona, with a great sheriff and a great Governor, continues in its voter madness, to reelect this charlatan. This man who fancies himself to be a legend in American history and American politics. Well, he is, just as Benedict Arnold is famous, so too wilt the friend of illegals, the friend of the elites, the friend of nearly everyone opposed to conservative beliefs be remembered for the harm he inflicted on our country while in office---and yet--the citizens of Arizona keep putting our country in harm's way by reelecting him. ????????????????????????

Just a passing thought. I was almost 30 years old when Carson's book came out. I did not read it but I believed most of it. Why?? Because of the MSM. They picked up the ball and ran with it. The amount of paper and print that discussed it led, even people who evaluate all things, to accept the information as fact. Magazines showed us pictures of collapsed egg shells and dead fledglings.The same was shown, almost daily, on television. It was easy to accept the ban on DDT. Our main stream media made it so. The text explained to us how the world was going to end if we kept using DDT. Crop failures, etc, etc. So too, have we been deluged with global warming , oil scarcity, fracking and numerous other potential earth and world harming "truths' by our beloved main stream media. One must make decisions for oneself. Step away from the hype of the failed profession of journalism, where sensationalism, fantasy and fear are dispelled and weigh the information. They do not sell newspapers telling us that today is a nice day.

For those who live in foreign countries who detest us, never ask us for help again. For those who are citizens and feel that way, take positive steps to enlighten yourself and the rest of us. For those who are here illegally, get out!
