Why yes, many of the festivities that go along with Easter are ripoffs of paganism, And I hardly exactly see people other than a few ultra-religious nutjobs getting too riled up about the Feast of the Immaculate Conception or the Feast of the Ascension. (I hope for your immortal soul you are not Evangelical, since of course Immaculate Conception is a Catholic doctrine).

Rasmussen Reports is out with some data sure to make anti-Christmas heads spin. The vast majority of Americans believe Christmas should be focused on Jesus, not Santa.

Should Christmas be more about Jesus Christ or Santa Claus? It may seem hard to tell looking at the popular culture, but Americans overwhelmingly think the emphasis should be on Jesus.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 76% of American Adults believe Christmas should be more about Jesus. Only 14% think it should be more about Santa, but another 10% are not sure.
