Actually, I LIKE capitalism. Ever since Robert White gave us an economics class back in the 60's, and taught us how it was SUPPOSED to work... without government subsidies etc. Santorum is known for earmarking bills for his special projects, a LOT of them were subsidies. I'd never vote for him. The only one out there who has had a track record for being pro-life and pro-family (issues I seem to be the only one interested in these days) is Ron Paul.

Good idea, safety, or not... it still is NOT the government's job to baby-sit me! They are only there to PROTECT me. In a Capitalist Country, government officials are not supposed to BE paid. Only citizens who own large businesses are allowed to run for office. They get their wages from the business/es they own, and leave office with NO government benefits.
