Get rid of the anchor baby law and limit chain/family immigration. Do not consider any form of amnesty, citizenship, or eligibility for government/financial aid until the border is secure. And the illegals go to the BACK of the line. I don't know all the answers to the immigration problem, but wouldn't that be a good place to start?

2012's Worst Paying College Degrees

That is a weird list. I was expecting to see "English major" or "costume design" or the other random liberal arts degrees that often don't lead to a career. I have several special ed teacher friends, and none of them got into that field expecting to get rich! They've got incredibly hard jobs, but they all feel that they were called to that profession. And believe me, it takes special skills to be a good special ed teacher! All in all, I just feel this article is too mean-spirited given the "helper" nature of the listed jobs. Yes, there are crappy teachers and social workers, but there are also wonderful ones who make an actual positive difference in the world.
I just finished Jan Brewer's book, "Scorpions for Breakfast", and it converted me to a believer and supporter of SB 1070. The quote from the administration: "human rights and the **rights of law-abiding citizens and immigrants** makes it crystal clear. Obama doesn't see a difference between legal and illegal immigration; whereas those on the front lines of this border war clearly do. Illegal immigrants committed a crime when they crossed the border illegally. As for having to show "papers", I live in Texas, where you are required (I believe) to carry a state or federally-issued ID at all times. I've never been stopped for a traffic violation and not been asked to produce my driver's license, regardless of what state I was in
