Yeah, But what happens if the mother dies during child birth, and the father chooses to raise the child? Obviously, that's not intentional, but it has happened. The same goes with new mother whose husband is killed in combat or an accident before the child is even born. I know that's not the real point you're trying to make. And I'm no proponent of gay parents (in general), but kids have, and will continue to adapt to these situations.
