When Terrorists 'Killed' In Drone Strikes Aren't Really Dead

Once again, Rachel shows how stupid one can become just by living in France (the birthplace of stupidity). Just because an intelligence agency refuses to confirm nor deny something, doesn't mean it didn't happen. I have had some of the most difficult to get security clearances. I have seen Tom Clancy violate secret code words and programs in his novels that I'm sworn to never speak of. The NYT will reveal any national security secret they can get a traitor/source to reveal, yet no one will ever dig into whether he got along well with others in Kindergarten (probably not).

The press has no right to national security data. I hate Obama, but the more terrorists he kills with drone strikes, the better. Plus, every 'innocent' civilian killed while hanging out with a terrorist is a just another future terrorist off our hands.

It's becoming obvious that Ms. Marsden is suffering from the same disease that affects all people that live in France. I think we need a study (private) to find out if eating too many snails, and drinking too much wine leads to brain decay.

Yah, but if Obama isn't killing terrorists, just innocent civilians, then that's a problem. Killing innocents is wrong as such, plus it enrages others and facilitates terrorist recruiting.

I'd rather trust Ms. Marsden's intellect, even Frenchified, than that of certain Washingtonians who need to "kill" terrorists a couple of times to get it right.

PARIS -- Is "killed by a drone strike" the new "alive and well"? If you pay close enough attention, it makes you wonder what's really going on.

Here's how this charade usually goes: One or more major news organizations runs a story about some Middle Eastern terrorist being killed in a drone strike, usually in Pakistan. The reports, typically generated by some murky Pakistani intelligence source -- are neither confirmed nor denied by U.S. intelligence. The boilerplate response is instead something like, "We can only confirm they were in the area." It's kind of like asking, "Did you sleep with...
