I'm SO OLD that it was considered racy that Wilma Flinstone and Betty Rubble were prancing around Bedrock in those skimpy little animal skin dresses they wore. The amazing thing was PETA wasn't there to throw beet juice all over their dresses, just because they were wearing "real" animal skin. Of course, Fred and Barney were courageous for developing the prototype for the first Prius.

That was actually the prototype for the Volt without the added weight of the battery to slow you down while pushing it because the charge won't get you anywhere near where you want to go.
