Gov. Palin is the reason why McCain didn't completely drown in 2008. She kept them afloat almost single-handedly. I also find it an amusing irony that between Palin, McCain, Obama and Biden, Gov. Palin was the best qualified to be president. Granted, she didn't have lengthy experience, but McCain and Biden were both senators (representatives of the States, not the populace) and Obama, well...his governing experience amounted to slightly less than diddly-squat.

Former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin will not be giving a speech at the RNC convention in Tampa at the end of the month. Instead, she will work to mobilize grassroots voters to support Romney/Ryan and will focus on taking back the Senate. Palin issued a statement about the decision on the blog of Fox News host Greta Van Susteren.
