It's Just Like the Sixties!

Incongruity Ms. Rios. as one who read Buckley instead of Mao, who volunteered for service to country, and who deplored civil disobedience in the sixties; I was with you all the way to the third from last paragraph of this piece. Our REPUBLIC does not need any minimum standards… (your words) established by the federales in the District of Columbia. I believe that with the abolishment of the US Department of Education, as you suggested, better Standards will be found in the several states. Mike Sharq

Federally Funded Islam?

Gael, Since when does a Google search become the arbitor for an obvious journalistic/editorial faux pas. I enjoy Mr. Hill's work and in general agree wth his positions. Maybe someone needs to write an app - a cabinet/czar checker?

Mr. Hill, though I applaud the thinking that went into this column, you did not get your facts straight. I think your credibility suffers when you point a finger at someone, Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, who is Health and Human Services Secretary and mistake her for Secretary Shaun Donovan, who is running HUD. Hope you don’t mind me pointing this out. I cut you no more slack than an Ed Schultz if you are off base. Mike Sharq MOVE-OVER.org

Dr. Sowell, I remember watching the "Gillette Friday Night Fights" with my grandfather on his 16" Philco, and as you said, there was an absense of tattoos and lame'attire.
I also do not recall chainlink fence around the ring as I now see on cable fights.
Our society is becoming crude, crass and cruel, so surely Christians vs Lions can't be far off. Maybe sponsored by the public endowment for the arts budget.
