Wrong. He violated Prof. Gates constitutional rights. Making this issue about race confuses that simple fact. Somebody understood that, though, since that charges were dropped faster than they were brought.

I don't think Crowley is a racist, but I do think he should be sitting behind a desk pushing paper until he can gain an understanding of the Constitution of the United States.
