I do not agree with Wright. This is just another in a long litany of excuses, and it’s a particularly distasteful one at that. The biggest differences between the parties are the culture issues. The nation is closely divided but left has just enough of an advantage to win.
That being said, I can think of no argument that could convince conservatives that abortion or homosexuality is acceptable. This impasse is a crisis for the GOP to resolve if it is to have a future.
Wednesday wasn’t “good morning” in the GOP. President Obama won a second term. Republicans deserve the shellacking we got because the party of Lincoln is running candidates in 2012 like it’s 1860. Old white men just don’t cut it anymore and are not reflective of the changing demographics of the country. America is browning up not whitening up, as evidenced by the US Census findings that minorities will make up 54% of the population by the year 2050.

It's ironic that the lamestreet media which insists on compromise won't step forward in the spirit of compromise on abortion and homosexuality by suggesting that both Republicans and demoncrats support those issues on the odd days and oppose them on the even ones!
