G: No one is trying to make you do anything are they? Folks my try to influence or change your point of view, but what is anyone trying to “make” you do? Just keep being a good person and respecting all human beings. That is always a good plan. However, you may want to consider just what “respecting all human beings” means.

You are free to say what you want and think what you want about gay people. No one is asking you to "sanctify homosexuality" (whatever that means). Continue to be a good person and respect others. His ways are not ours. No one has an agenda. People only want to be treated with respect and seek equality under the law.

Put another way, romantic attraction and sexual desire are now viewed as being as innate and immutable as skin color.

Make no mistake about it. Another significant step was taken yesterday at the inauguration, and what was once associated with the extremist views of radical gay activists is now as American as apple pie. As expressed in the closing prayer of Episcopal...
