America Is Two Countries, Not on Speaking Terms

So, did your wife agree with your that women are promiscuous creatures motivated by their desire to be on equal social terms with men; or did she agree with you that women are not as wise as men are when choosing our government?

Dread: No, I had something to lose, my preference in the Presidency. And he “alienated a fourth of the young woman VOTERS”, Rush contributed to our loss. Don’t back down from your own statements. You are one of the few folks here that have had the courage to speak honestly.

Rush can say it now for another four year. Why would it bothher us?

I said he alienated a fourth of the young woman VOTERS; because they don't want anyone denouncing how they screw around. It's all very simple. hey took it out on Mitt Romney!

You see, Rush had nothing to lose by motivating their anger. Nor do you. But Mitt was the whipping boy.

Becca: That’s fine, but did you agree with Dread's? You’re a woman aren’t you? Do your emotions motivate your political choices? Are you driven by a desire to have One-night-stands? You know, being a conservative is more than just agreeing with some people no matter what and disagreeing with others because they don’t stick to the herd.

And do you realize the overall point Dread was making was how Rush contributed to our loss yesterday?

Dread-I wasn't offended by what Rush said. I agreed with him.

PS, Mike:

We ought to reflect on all this; because;

There are enormous rafts of feminists today eligible to elect a president; millions more than ethnic voters, homosexuals and/or welfare cases. They make up more than half our country's voters.

Maybe all woman voters aren't so banal about presidential politics. Yet there is a large girly population out here, and they make their presence felt.

All you have to look at is the numbers. Sandra Fluke is no minor matter. Everyone was offended at Rush Limbaugh; saying she's a s lu t . What's my take? My wife's?

Rush had to have cost Romney easily a quarter of the young womens' vote with the attention he gave sluts. They vote, you know. Good women do too. But most good women stay out of bars.

You know who won the election (or whether we face another Florida 2000), and as I write I don't.

But whether Barack Obama is re-elected to a second term or Mitt Romney is elected the 45th president, the contours of their support during this fiercely fought campaign show that we live in Two Americas.

The culturally cohesive America of the 1950s that some of us remember, usually glossing over racial segregation and the civil rights movement, is no longer with us and hasn't been for some time.

That was an America of universal media, in which everyone watched one of three...
