I read the opinions and reader's responses hoping for some enlightenment. When I come across something like this, CeeTee, 1) insulting the opposition just shows how weak your understanding of the relevant issue is, 2) because of this weakness you cannot put together a reasonable argument, 3) I find it irritating because I'm looking for a reasonable rebuttal and all I read is useless ranting like yours above. If Malkin is wrong, prove it.

GIMME A BREAK. Those who say the US has the worst healthcare in the world apparently have not live in another country. I lived in Bolivia for a year or two. Let me tell you, the worst hospital or clinic in the US is far and away better than any I visited while in Bolivia. I carry the parasites to prove it. The only doctor worth visiting was a graduate of Harvard Medical School who returned to Bolivia to practice. He set up his own mini-hospital so he would not have to send anyone to the local city's facility. Yeah, ours has problems we need to fix, but those people who say it is the worst, don't know what they are talking about.

Will, Pistol, et.al., Bring it up a level. there is no need to get vulgar to defend or attack conservative ideals.

I am happy to write that I don't have these problems with my classes. Could it be that most of my students have been thru boot camp? Could it be that some of them have spent time in Iraq, Afganistan, and Kuwait? The stories they tell me is that in these places, they meet people, (not just drill sargents) that are not impressed with who/what you are. Maybe some of these kids need a little boot camp too.
