Give me a quiet, modest Chelsea over the two Bush girls throwing up in the streets of Argentina anyday.

My daughter-in-law is a history professor at a local community college.

She has become so frustrated with the plagerism (and the fact that students don't even understand when they are commiting it!) that she now only accepts papers that are handwritten.

At the very least, she claims, the student has had to fire off enough brain cells to copy the words off the screen and hopefully, in the process, retain something of the content.

History has always provided for shocks when Presidential appointees change their stripes once on the bench.

But, Reagan and the Bushes changed all that and made darn sure that their boys (and one girl) would never step out of line.

History will judge that unprecedented success in stacking the court as their greatest accomplishment.

Let's just hope that Obama gets to make one more appointment so that something close to sanity rules at least half the court.

I wouldn't know a thing about prejudice: by nothing but an accident of birth and a toss of the biological dice, I was born male, white, straight, right-handed and Christian in the US.

I have never experienced any prejudice in my life, so I have no problem with two lesbians or two gay guys having the exact same legal license that my wife and I have had for 23 years.
