Very accurate assessment. Dr. Williams is right on top of the subject. I say "leave those disruptive children behind"!! Education is a serious business. Get them out of the way of the kids that are there to learn. Let them become a police problem until they are ready for education and discipline.

Absolutely spot on observation!! All the experimentation done in the past 30 or 40 years to make education "easier" by all the new methods has been catastrophic for real education. When will these "elite educators" learn that things are not easy? When will it become apparent to them that kids have to behave themselves in class; that they have to study; that teachers must be obeyed and respected; that kids have to do homework and have it in on time; that they have to memorize and produce; that grammar and correct writing are important? I say leave the children behind until they're ready to work hard instead of disrupting classes. Education is important. Kids have to learn that first. Return control of classes to good, hard working...

No one says that tort reform is going to be the magic bullet in this debate. It's only a part---but, I think, an important part. It has to be accompanied by incentives which will produce more medical professionals, less expensive equipment, meds and supplies.
