The thing that everyone seems to not want to say is that BHO, Feinstein, Shumer, Bloomberg know all the arguments and what does or does not need tobe studied. But all of that is not their goal. The goal is the total disarmament of the citizens so the US will be turned into just another marxist nation.
Difficulty in getting change in our country is an ongoing source of frustration. Particularly when we have huge problems facing us as we do today.
But the founders knew what they were doing setting up the checks and balances of our constitutional republic. The delicate arrangement we call freedom should never submit with ease to a charismatic demagogue or to an emotion filled crisis.

one must break the law,be arrested,tried and convicted,then while sitting in jail,appeal your way up through the appellate courts,and MAYBE the Supreme Court will agree to hear your case. there's no guarantees.
All this happens at YOUR expense.

No newly enacted law goes before SCOTUS to be vetted before it becomes active law,a test case has to come up through the appeals courts,from a person having legal "standing".(the arrestee)
Cite me ONE law enacted by Congress that was nullified by SCOTUS -BEFORE- it went into effect.
