Utopia Versus Freedom

Dr. Sowell, and others, have pointed out, repeatedly, what the solutions to fixing health care is. You're just so blinded by your hatred of the right to see it.

Is it narrow-minded to blame Democrats for their part in the expansion of the federal government at the expense of freedom? Perhaps, but a lot of things can also be construed as narrow-minded if it's the truth! Democrats have rarely stood for freedom. Time and time and time and time and time again, they choose tyranny over individual liberty; they look to government to solve every social ill, real or imagined, rather than to the private sector, because they really do not care about these issues.

Because if they did care about the issues that you and your ilk...

Remember John Brown? Some thought he was a lunatic, but few could deny his zeal. He was absolutely right about the right course of action to handle Slavery. The problem was people insisted on talking and talking and talking. He drew first blood, because he knew he had to wake the nation up from a comfortable complacency.

Right now, law doesn't matter. Not at all. The Democrats don't care a whit about law so long as it only applies to them. Again, by talking to these people, by playing their game, you only secure your own defeat. You never fight the battle the enemy wishes you to fight.

Do you really think this law can be repealed? Name me one entitlement that has ever been repealed? I know about the Medicare...

I can appreciate your sentiment, but this is war. The enemy knows this is war. They're banking on our "civility," that we will not resort to violence to defend ourselves. If we do not treat this with the intensity and seriousness it requires, we will not repeal this act, we will not win back the Congress, or the White House, nor will we be able to correct the Supreme Court.

The problem is the culture of statism in Washington and in our society. That isn't going to just go away with words. They do not care about logic or reason. They only know what they want, and what they want is power. People like this cannot be swayed by logic, no matter how much you try.

They want us to play by their rules, which they get to...

Dennis, these people cannot be reasoned with. They are the enemy, and must be treated as such. They hate liberty. They won't admit it, because they're not rational creatures. They seek to oppress.

Do not be afraid of war. That is what the enemy wants us to be. Let us embrace it. These people have thrown down the gauntlet. We must pick it up.

They refused to hear our voices. Perhaps they will hear our gunfire.

I've stopped paying federal income tax. I refuse to feed the monster. And I refuse to subsidize the health care of others. And I've told my legislators in writing. They have cast the dice, I didn't.

We must refuse to cooperate. If we truly value the ideas that have made America what it is, then we must stand firm in the face of tyranny.

I refuse to pay taxes until three things are done. One, Repeal this law. Two, Privatize Social Security, Medicare, and any other social welfare program. Three, place all those members who proposed, submitted, and voted on this law under arrest; have them indicted and prosecuted, and punished with imprisonment at hard labor (20 years ought to suffice), with no possibility of...

Okay, I'd settle for life incarceration at hard labor for anyone who violates the Constitution. Wouldn't want these criminals martyred. We'll let the inmates do it.

If it passes or not, let the word go forth to put these people who pushed and vote for this bill to be hanged. Leave their corpses out on the Capitol steps so that the carrion can feast on them, without a burial.

After all, what else might you do to someone who threatens to take away your liberty? Too many people have died to keep America free, and I'll be damned if I'm going to let these criminals take it from us now. It's time these people be made an example for the world to see; that we take our liberty deathly seriously. Let them pay with their lives!
