We need at 12% flat tax income tax and corporate tax. This would grow the private sector tremendously, put people to work and bring more revenue to the government. If at the beging we are a little short then we need to spend less.

Mike14760 ... even if disallowing all current day 'deductions' and 'credits' the "flat tax" or "fair tax" would have to be 25% and applied to all persons in this nation regardless of economic and other circumstances. 12% is fantasy...

Added to this would be the requirement for an additional 20% applied to state taxes with no deductions, credits or allowances... also across the board. Lastly, county taxes not included within a mortgage payment would be yet additional.

Dr. Ben Carson, the man who spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast and made major news for speaking against Obama's class warfare policies and about the healthcare system, critiqued President Obama's State of the Union address this morning on Fox and Friends.

"You've got to realize that you're the president of everybody."
