So the L.A. premiere of "Django Unchained" was cancelled. I haven't heard anything about a disclaimer for the Jaimie Fox statement that "I get to kill lots of white people" was inappropriate. I guess that's Ok with Harvey Weinstein.

I'll not go to this garbage and will spread the message about his hate towards white people to encourage them to avoid it as well. How AMERICAN is that?!
It's too hard to try and make sense of a senseless event. Adam Lanza's merciless slaughter in Connecticut has forced everyone with a microphone to insist we have a "national conversation" about why this happens.

But this urgent need to talk is not an excuse for a reckless discussion. Sadly, that is where we're headed, with pundits hysterical, naive or both.
