Blaming Clinton's Financial Services Modernization Act for allowing previously separated investment and commercial banks to finally merge with each other is a misrepresentation of reality. With the increased efficiency of electronic trading and legal loopholes of holding companies, commercial banks, traditional banks, and brokerage firms were finding ways of effectively merging with each other anyway. Clinton's Financial Services Modernization Act just acquiesced to reality.
Face it Hermy, you're a bigot. And as for the opinions of Christians living in Lebanon... try asking Bridget Gabriel.
Yes, Israel should be criticized. Problem is, your criticism is irrational. If England was attacked, and responded by warning the local population that a strike against the local missile factory was a about to happen, England would be praised for their civility. If an occasional illumination flare made it to the ground and accidentally burned a half dozen curious locals, everyone would claim it was an accident. Clearly if it were intentional thousands would have been burned. But with Israel, one burned civilian in a conflict zone is deemed a premeditated act of murder. The application of the grossly different standard is the definition of antisemitism, or rather anti-jewism. Face it Hermy, your a bigot.
....and too bad he wasn't with them.
While were at it, in 135 Hadrian also changed the name of Jerusalem to "Ilia Capitolina", but that name stuck for less 200 years.
No you and West are both wrong. West got the year wrong. He should have said 135. You are wrong. Vespasian did not change the name, nor did he put down the First Revolt in 73. Vespasian started to put down the Revolt in 66, but it was his son Titus that finished the job in 73. Then Vespasian built the Arch of Titus to commemorate the occasion. And Vespasian did not change the name but he did mint new coins inscribed with "Ivdaea Capta" or Judea Captured.
Hm, that would be Russia under Stalin, it was called the Soviet Union, and they DID keep that territory.
And 0bama had his likeness sent back to England. (Even though Sir WC's mum was American)
Hey Brad, Google Taqiyya.
