I think Blackwell and Klukowski are right. Yet, an Appeals Court (was it the 6th?) ruled that ObamaCare was legal precisely on that point of Congress' having the right to issue a mandate based solely on the Commerce clause in the Contitution.

Let's see...the country's about to be engulfed by a tsunami of debt and turned into a failed socialistic society of entitlements where wealth-redistributive policies are the norm, and this powder puff gives us bromides and platitudes about civility delivered in a sleep enducing style! How about a little "Give me liberty, or give me death!" quality to the presentation! We're there, it's time to fight!

Good column. My only problem is with the picture that accompanies it. At first blush, I thought it was Chuck U. Todd, the wussie Obama cheer leader, who works for NBC News. A shiver went down my spine and I thought, "What the hell is this guy doing on TH.com?" before I realized that you were his identical twin, separated at birth, who grew up another family with an entirely different set of family values and political ideology. Thank God! Keep up the good work.

Obama has always been what the liberal media refused to recognize - an ideological leftist zealot, whose goal is to simply create economic chaos during which he and the Treason Party will re-distribute our wealth from the haves to the have-nots. He's been emersed in the Saul Alinsky model since his Columbia days when he - according to his own words - sought out Marxist professors and disaffected minority students who were more interested in starting revolutions than pursuing fundamental constitutional principles which would make a "more perfect Union." Obama's presidency is a sham.

We should cut the budget by 5% per year across the board until the budget is balanced. That would include the welfare money that's sucked out by the parasites who've clung to the government teat for generations. We can begin by reducing the Earned Income Tax Credit by 5% (that's money transferred from the Treasury to those whyo pay no income taxes, but get a rebate from the government simply by filing a Form 1040 every year) . Almost every American household has had to cut back, and the government, our servants, should be required to do the same. If we don't soon get control of this unsustainable circus of spending, this nation will soon collapse

That stunningly stupid assertion by Nancy Pelosi - that artists should and would be taken care of by government healthcare in order for them to pursue their creative passions -was exceeded by the absurdly asinine "We have to pass it to see what's in it" comment! And they say conservatives haven't a clue???

The news that the "worst person in the world" was canned by MSNBC is the best I've heard since Saddam Hussein's neck was stretched a few years ago. Next should be that loudmouth ton of Lard, Ed Shultz, to be followed by the tingler, Chris Matthews, who nobody watches anyway but deserves a "kill shot" (oops! That's a metaphor, libs, don't get your panties in a wad) simply because he's such an annoying putz.

The clownish Sheriff Dipstick Dupnick was destroyed by Megyn Kelly on Fox News when she pinned him to the wall about lacking specifics that would tie Limbaugh and crowd to the lunatic fruitcake, Loughner. He said he had none, but "it's my opinion." Well, it;s my opinion that Dipstick is the Zodiac killer who committed several unsolved murders in California some 30 years ago. He's about the right age, and appears just kookie enough to have pulled it off. I think an investigation is in order.
