It isn't just the taxes at every level, it is the tax on tax on tax that adds to this nightmare. Try buying tires for your car, the Federal Excise Tax on tires is added to the price then the states/cities etc. add their % of sales tax on the ENTIRE AMOUNT! This happens at every level. The businesses that create products pay taxes, those go into the prices we pay, then we pay sales tax on top of all that. I'm for a simple single tax at the source, then no one pays anything more. CUT THEM OFF!

At a base level these issues are all driven by instinct to be wary of something different, be it a person, surroundings, threats etc. In caveman days it was likely a finely honed survival instinct. In modern society we do the exact thing but don't understand it's origins in our instinctive make up...therefore we need a name for it, thus the term racist has been coined by those wishing to benefit from it (race baiters) or those wanting to use it as a club (Liberals). I have a question no one in the talking head circuit has asked...and I'm very serious. According to Title 18,USC, 201: ( http://uscode.house.gov/pdf/2003/2003usc18.pdf ) Giving anything of value to a public official (Congressman) for their vote on a bill is defined as bribery. Just because it's done inside Congress does NOT make it legal or ok...it's a crime no matter who does it. So how is it that Nancy Pelosi and other leadership gave taxpayer money and other considerations to secure votes on the Obamacare bill and others is NOT a Felony? Is Congress immune to the law? I think not. So when do we put a stop to the criminal activity that happens every day? This is something the Tea Party needs to start bringing up in their press...

The big Pharma companies are held back by...you guessed it, Government Rules. Doctors hands are tied by...Government enabled, politally sponsored (DIMocRAT infested) Trial Lawyers.
