Kevin, it's about principle, not the quality of the vehicle. I personally wouldn't want to buy from a co. that couldn't hold it together and needed the gov't to bail them out AFTER a bankruptcy. Why did GM go bankrupt in the first place?....ask yourself that. I would buy a Ford just because they didn't require a bailout. So there.
The state of MI sales tax is 6%. That would be $318 for a foot of rope. Approximately 3 feet to make a noose, right? That would be about $954. ...I would gladly pay it.
Kevin32, you're delusional to believe "if there was a GMC, Ford, or Chevy in every driveway in America, we would not be in this problem..." It's not b/c lack of sales that GM required a bailout. What's happening in Greece right is the same that's happening to GM. Did you not read above that GM has MILLIONS in pension liabilities? Isn't that the SAME problem that got them into this mess?
I'm with you Kevin348. I think it's a matter of principle. I will never buy GM/Chrysler b/c of the bailout (also read Malkin's latest article on the scandal therein), and will never buy Ford because he was an active anti-Semite. Besides, no one...and I mean NO ONE can argue that foreign cars are better made all across the board. Read epinions and consumer reports. My grandpa worked for Ford for over 30 years and drove a Toyota the whole time. He got ridiculed for it (nice company, huh?) but he refused to stand down. He still drives foreign. Also, if I'm going to spend more than $10,000 of my money I'm going to buy the best....and foreign cars are simply better, hands down :p
While it's true that AP classes are more worthwhile than the IB Program it's STILL an indoctrination. I took AP English in high school (a non-school of choice) and had to read shat like "The Scarlet Letter," "The Crucible," "The Great Gatsby," and "Catcher in the Rye." Ugh. But I have to admit I was introduced to "Pride and Prejudice" in that class and while it's considered "liberal" it was only so during THAT time, but I consider it a wonderfully profound and well-written CONSERVATIVE piece. How many men today would do what Darcy did to win Miss Elizabeth's affections?

And the same with the Arabs. Being near Detroit and consequently Dearborn, MI - the largest cesspool of probably illegal Arabs in the US - you see the same. They come here to escape the "extremism" of the middle east but will never hesitate to denigrate our economy and besmirch Americans. They have an uppity attitude towards us, acting as if their way of life is better and, guess what? They vote democrat! I will say with absolutely authority that MOST people in the Detroit-metro area would be very glad to place the Arabs on a ship towards the middle east and sink it halfway there.

And the same with Nixon. I'm not saying he was a great man or pres, but the Watergate so-called scandal was simply Nixon perjuring in court for those who were searching through archives for, again, commie infiltrators. Libs and many conservatives want to slander him too, but what I thought Nixon did was noble. And whattya know: as it turns out it was true...there were commie spies in our gov't at the time.

Sorry RINO, but you are biased. You're mentality - the PC mentality - is what's exacerbating this problem. Have you read the parts in the Koran that tell muslims to kill Christians and Jews? Your friend probably didn't mention that, and if you inquired about it directly they would say that's a radical view and they don't follow it. Then they can't be called real muslims because they're deliberately ignoring their own beliefs. I live in the Detroit area near Dearborn, the most populated Arab community in the US, and I can say with authority that while most Arabs in the US won't strap bombs to themselves they still dislike the US. I call that treason. Bachmann has every right to do what she did. I lament that she had to drop out of the race.

Unwittingly? More like willingly. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that she hired Adedin for the sole purpose of finding a discreet way of undermining the national security of this country.
You're absolutely right Jay. Not only do the libs/progs delay a death sentence but how many times have we seen a sentence revoked by a new judge some years later that has determined the villian to be "rehabilitated?" And how many times has that person been released back into society only to strike again? Too many times for my comfort.
...where's ur stats for that Barone? I live near Detroit...you want to compare for me the black crime rate from the last half of the 20th cent to the 21st? I'm pretty sure it's not the whites causing Detroit to have the #2 highest crime rate in the US and Flint, MI #1. Ugh. I feel like I should bleach my brain from reading this junk. Please do better next time, Barone.
