It’s Time to Get Serious…About Alcohol

I know this is satire, but not as far from the truth as you might think. The same people who want to disarm all of us actually DO want to make it virtually impossible for responsible people to obtain and consume alcoholic beverages. Knowing that outright Prohibition was a failure, unelected federal bureaucrats began by forcing all states to change the drinking age to 21 on threat of withholding federal highway funding. Then they used the same tactic to lower the BAL from .1 to .08. Then they began sending federal grant money to the states to be used ONLY for hunting down and pulling over (without probable cause) alleged drunk drivers. (cont.)

The next step will be to lower the BAL from .08 to .06. Then from .06 to .04. They're very patient. Eventually all the responsible drinkers will grow tired of being punished. The true alcohol abusers (an infinitesamal percentage) will continue to drive around in an alcoholic stupor, killing others and themselves.

The correlation with gun control is evident.

America, we are in a time of crisis. And, meaningful action must be taken before another life is lost. That time for action is now.

According to the World Health Organization, alcohol is responsible for nearly 4 percent of all deaths worldwide. In the United States alone, more than 24,500 people died in 2009 as a result of alcohol, excluding accidents and homicides. In 2010, 31 percent of all traffic-related deaths in the U.S. were the result of alcohol, taking 10,228 lives.

Fellow Americans, something must be done. Too many lives have been lost because of alcohol. Innocent lives snuffed...
