Hillary ran defense for Obama at the hearings. Now they're both nearly off the hook. There's one final chapter coming up this Sunday on 60 Minutes. Steve Croft will interview both of them. Will Croft toss softballs? Maybe, Maybe not. But one thing you can be sure of is that Obama and Hillary have both rehearsed the answers to any hard questions Croft might ask. If you want to see a spin machine duet in action, watch 60 Minutes. They will have a smooth, pat answer for every conceiveable question -- they've had over four months to practice. Benghazi will be in their rear view mirror for good after Sunday, totally off the radar screen.

One day, I hope, Hillary Clinton's Benghazi hearings will stand as testament to the smoke-and-mirrors dangerousness of U.S. foreign policy, circa 2013 -- both as executed by the executive branch of government and as weakly grasped by the legislative branch.

Did we learn who in the Obama administration concocted and/or coordinated the story about a totally imaginary video protest that was supposed to have led to the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, on 9/11/12? No.

Did we learn why the maker of the so-called anti-Islamic YouTube video clip is the only person in the world in jail for the attacks (for "parole violations")? No.
