Where were these bishops when Obamacare was being debated in the house and senate? Oh, that's right, they caved and supported it. The end game is quite clear: Obama couldn't care less about whether they violate their consciences or not. In fact, he's counting on them not giving in. Instead of accepting any compromise, he's hoping they'll choose to just pay the fine for not providing health care to their employees and force them to buy from government exchanges. That's the plan as it has been all along. This president doesn't compromise, he just talks a good game and does what he intends anyway.
Fourth: the government only creates government jobs. It's those private sector "rich" people who create private sector jobs.
If his lips were moving, he was lying.
That's okay. We'll be happy to retire them in the next election. We've had it with wishy washy would fiscal conservatives. -Proud Tea Party "terrorist"
The president will not be able to veto a balanced budget amendment to the constitution because it will never cross his desk. Constitutional amendments are either ratified or not by the States. The President has no say in the matter at all.
This isn't a cave, but it is Lucy and the football again. They'll agree to spending cuts in order to get the debt ceiling raised. They'll get the increased debt ceiling and the cuts will never materialize. This was done under Bush 41 also. I hope we don't play the role of Charlie Brown again. Spending cuts should come first.
That's not necessary, just boycott products made in China, like I do. If enough of us do this, their economy wont be booming due to our purchase power.
No matter what they say, the radicals that have taken over the Democrat party are pleased with how this economy is going; they planned to break it so they can take over more segments of private industry and nationalize the whole thing.
Not that I like or agree with Party 1st politics, but if it's a form of racism, what race? What tribe?
We don't need a "grand deal", we just need our leaders to stand firm and get familiar with amendment 14 of our constitution. Then, they would understand that default is not a possibility and Obama is back to "not letting a crisis go to waste". Someone should read him the story of the Little Boy Who Cried Wolf. He needs to hear the moral behind it.
