1. There is a vast difference between man's law and God's law. For example, God does not allow divorce. You can thank Moses for that. Because of the "hardness of their (the people's) hearts" he (Moses) allowed divorce. God's law didn't change. He still doesn't want marriages to end. People (yes, even Christians) get away with it because God can and does forgive when we confess and repent of our sin.
