I wouldn't expect to find any soap anywhere near the OWS crowd.

At some point, I have to choose liberty (do what I want with my own damned property and the same to my neighbors) over a few thousand dollars in property values.

The black community would be a lot better off if they spent more time reading Thomas Sowell, Shelby Steele, JC Watts, Walter Williams, et al, and cast off the likes of Jerkson, Not-so-Sharpton and the rest of the race-hustling poverty pimps (JC Watts awesome phrase for them).

Shubi nails the essence of the problem, as usual. This country is made up of 310 million or so people with WILDLY divergent priorities, principles and values. Commies don't want to live in this constitutional republic, which has been a beacon of liberty and opportunity to billions around the world. Fine...create your little socialist utopias in Oregon, CA, IL...wherever. Don't pull the rest of us down in to the abyss by trying to do this on a national scale.

Untruth sees Republican efforts as sabotaging the Obama politburo's efforts. Most of us know all they're doing is trying to dig in their heels to slow as we approach the cliff. I guess when you wouldn't know the truth if it slapped you in the face with a dead fish, it can seem like the former.

His malignant narcissism is very disturbing to watch and could be fatal to the Republic.

It would certainly bother me, Roy. Control-freaks on the boards of condo and home-owner associations drive me to drink. My Lawd...we agree on something.
So, if I go to a convenience store and grab my 52 oz cup and fill it with the beverage of my choice, how is the check-out person to police what's in my cup. Are they going to taste test it? Will there be a cop at the door or the fountain to police this edict? THIS is what "Progressivism" represents. We're all a bunch of Homer Simpsons, that must be taken care of by our "betters"...the geniuses in the Democrat Party who are so much smarter than we mere citizens.
There's a scene in a great movie called "The Freshman" where Matthew Broderick turns to the camera and says, "you know, there's a certain 'freeing' feeling that comes over when you realize you're completely __cked". Unfortunately, I'm not getting that feeling yet, but I do think we're completely __cked.
