What government handouts to the oil industry are you talking about? As far as I know the government hasn't given the oil company any handouts (i.e. "free" money [like GM and Chrysler]). The government does give them tax credits for exploration, dry hole costs, drilling, depreciation but then government gives the same tax breaks to other non-oil companies as well. Montana Mike
By passing Continuing resolutions, all the spending increases that were added as part of the stimulus became part of the budget. That's were the extra $3,000,000,000,000(I think I got enought zeros there) went, they are hidden in the CRs. By the way 8411C where in Montana are you living? I was born and raised in Great Falls.
