Since Barack Obama has become President during his first 2 years the Democrats had been in charge of the House, Senate and Oval Office and they added almost $3.5 Trillion, but when the Republicans took over the house and were able to start interferring in his destructive policies spending has begun to slow. "Just Google http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0774721.html for proof" You asked in an earlier post, "If he's so bad, why is so popular?" The answer's simple. He's so popular with the liberal voters because he's offering all sorts of freebies with other peoples money. Eventually that money will dry up and you'll be on parr with the people living in Cuba or any other third world country . Have fun supporting a Socialist...

@Aura; Actually the US economy has fared much better under Democratic presidents when the Republicans were interfering with the DemocraticPresidents bad fiscal policies. Under Bush sr, the Democrats owned both the house and the Senate and he struggled, Under Clinton during his first 2 years the Dems were still in charge and the economy still tanked. But during his next 6 years the Republicans were in charge and the economy improved. Under George the 2nd during his first 6 years the Repubs were in charge and even though it struggled due to a Bi-Partisan supported war it still didn't do too badly, but during his last 2 yrs when the Democrats were in charge of both houses the economy added almost $2 Trillion in debt in those 2 years.

@john738; I have no problem with your post, but felt some clarification is necessary about the National Debt. You stated "a national debt that may well exceed 16 trillion dollars by the new year" The National Debt already exceeded $16 Trillion during the first day of the Democratic National Convention (if that isn't an Omen of worse things to come if the Demorats are still in control come 2013)and it's on a course to exceed that by 1/3 trillion more ($16.387 Trillion) come come Inauguration Day January 20, 2013 Barack Obama will have added $70 Billion shy of $6 Trillion dollars if he only has one term. That means he added over 1/3 of the total debt while he's been in office.
Your quoting Joe biden. What he meant to say was, "Osama is dead and Doctor Shakil Afridi is still locked up in a Pakistani prison because of White House leaks!"
Just as RHSimard stated in the below post, if I had voted I would have also been in favor of restoring God and Jerusalem as the capital. But clearly not having 2/3 of the vote to reassert it in the platform not only with the first vote but also with two more consecutive votes is proof that the Democratic party can no longer be trusted with the USA form of Democracy. What's going to happen in the Presidential Election on November 6th when Romney/Ryan get elected to the White House? Are the Democrats going to demand not just one recount but two more besides, and when it's still evident that Obama lost are they going to declare Martial Law and deem the Election as illegal and then proclaim Obama King of the United States?
I don't think it's as bad as you see it, but if Obama gets re-elected I think it will be worse than you expect it to be. I do think your wrong on the Legal Aliens though, they're the ones playing by the rules and will support the idea of America being a Melting Pot. The problem lies with the Illegals they're part of the class that believes they're the entitled ones and things should be done at their desires, which pretty well describes many of the socialist class that are finding their voice and destroyoing this country from within.
Personally Romneys campaign needs to use actual footage from Obama's 2008 campaign that has Obama describing how dispicable it is to use ads that utilize lies and slanders. FoxNews played two of them this morning and it would be very effective in having Obama condemning himself. Plus Romney needs to speak more like a statesman rather than the nice easy going guy he sounds like.
I would rather take my chances with the businessman even though he's untested for the position of President of the United States and know that there is at least a 50/50 chance for our country. While a vote for Barack Obama is certain to result in a 100% chance of a repeat in failed policies! Personally I do have 100% confidence that Mitt Romney wont let us down and that he really does have the answers!!!
@gmallast: Since you quoted " there is so little real difference between Obama and Romney" You have no real proof that this is the case. The choice on who to vote for should be simple. If you vote for Obama you know for sure that his failed policies if he is re-elected will still continue to the detriment of our economy and devastation is almost certain. On the other-hand if Mitt Romney is the same as Obama, as you assume, things wont be any worse, but if your wrong and Mitt has the expertise to bring this country back to a healthy state as many of us believe Our country will be back on the road to recovery.

Obama's going to use Executive Power to change the rules of the debates so that Democrates are allowed to use the teleprompter and Governor Romney will only be able to use the assistance of Joe biden to prompt him.
