Hating America

I don't know if whoever moderates this forum will ever do anything about it, but I've started flagging this and the guy who promotes his blog in the comments on every other article. Hey kiddies - if you want to promote something do it honestly and buy an ad. Placing an ad-as-a-comment on every article just reveals you for the annoying cheap freeloader that you are.

Benghazi: Are We A Nation Run By Fools?

"Are We A Nation Run By Fools?" This must be a rhetorical question.
Funny how none of these things existed from 1776 - 1930, and we didn't have permanent aristocracy or riots in the streets. You're a loon.
You know, it's really depressing when horrible things happen to good people. It's rather nice that Giffords and Kelley have gone out of their way to assure us that - at least in this instance - horrible things happened to horrible people.
Liar. Show us some examples of this widespread cruel, physical bullying. What you loons call "bullying" is simply failing to accept and "celebrate" your lifestyles and beliefs. No one has the right to beat on you, and no one is. But no one is required to "accept" you or associate with you either.

Who Are the War Criminals in Syria?

"It now appears that Obama may have saved us from a strategic disaster" Obama's strategic disaster was the whole "red line" fiasco. Making threats that he has no intention of carrying through makes us look like fools. It makes other countries doubt our resolve when we confront them. I'm not supporting intervention here. I'm supporting keeping one's fat mouth shut.
"Currently, we have a small number of H-1B visas allowing entry to those with high-tech skills." Yeah right. When I first graduated college, it took over a year to find a tech job. When I did, I was surprised how many co-workers were H1-Bs (especially Indians). Looking around the industry today, I would not be surprised if that were not still the case. The H1-B system is regularly abused. We don't need more, we need less.

Note: I am not anti-capitalist. And I think we have way to many absurd restrictions on commerce here. But if you are going to dump in the ocean (for instance), then dump in the ocean. Don't make it illegal here and then pay the Chinese big money to do it.

For all the "Free traders" here. Please explain this: If we removed all minimum wage, safety, and environmental laws. Do you think we would still be importing from Bangladesh? No. We would all have our own little sweatshops full of illegal Mexicans, and we'd be supplying cheap goods to the rest of the world. Why is it "fair" to place a bunch of restrictions on team A, no restrictions on team B, and tell them to go compete in the marketplace?

Corbett: My point isn't about saving the environment. My point is about placing one set of restrictions on team A, no restrictions on team B, then telling them to compete in the marketplace and calling it "fair trade". It's not.
