They're the Obama tax cuts now, Bubba. Didn't you notice BHO adopted and extended them just like every other Bush policy, from keeping Gitmo to reinforcing Afghanistan to the Patriot Act to continued rendition of prisoners, to you name. But maybe you haven't been keeping up on your current events. Unemployment under Bush was in the 4%-5% range. Obama sure fixed that.

No, that is your imagination. When you have actually done the experiment and published the paper and others have replicated it, then it will be genetics.

Were you raised in a Pentacostal household? Every faux argument you make about religion is only about a literal interpretation of a particular set of religious writings, almost always Genesis and Mosaic Code. Not every Jew or Christian regards the Genesis story as literal truth. Most take it as a parable, a metaphor, a fable. Why do you never complain about Muslim rules regarding the proper treatment of gays? Does stoning seem acceptable to you?

Thanks, Jillian, for setting up a this debate on TH. It should be noted that the list is only intended for use during the 2010 congressional election season, which affects a proper analysis

First impressions: the first five are much too negative in tone, even for use in a single season. It is not enough to oppose bad policy, you must propose effective alternatives. Six is too deferential to the military as a general proposition and most likely will not be an issue in 2010. Seven is too vague; does it mean military action? Against North Korea? Eight is fine as far as it goes, but is too limited in scope. Nine is incoherent. What does it mean to oppose health care rationing and denial of health care? As for ten, not even...
In an interview conducted by Shannon Bream of Fox News on Sunday, November 15, 2009, a shill for Planned Parenthood, in complaining that the House bill does not allow federal funds to be used to purchase abortion coverage, actually said “People don’t want the government telling them what kind of insurance they can buy.”

She said it with a straight face, with no sense of irony at all. I wish I had a clip. Planned Parenthood is particularly shameless when it comes to its own hypocrisy. I once heard one of their stooges defend abortion on the ground that no one knows when “ensoulment” occurs. As if she believed people have souls.
