Arguing the meaning of free speech is in itself a testament to its purpose. However, I believe it would be safe to say the term is not an absolute value. Freedom of speech comes with consequences and requires responsibility. I believe freedom of speech is only acceptable when its product is a truth. Do we have the freedom to tell a lie?
