Have you ever read a Sowell book? Tell me, what knowledge do you think Dr. Sowell is lacking? Please let me know... I'm up for a laugh. And seriously... you say you need a major complainer like Sowell to give something up? You've never heard any conservative or libertarian mention anything they'd give up? Who are you and where have you been? It seems your second sentence more aptly applies to you. Give up protection from fire, crime, terrorism? who has ever advocated that? ... You're tilting at windmills, friend... but I will humor you. Here is a list of government "services" I would happily give up: The Federal Reserve, Public Education, Obamacare, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, the IRS, the Department of Homeland Security,...

Trusted Most -- Men with Guns

So you're saying you hate babies and you endorse burning the flag... oh wait you didn't say any of that... Nor did Pat say any of the things you just accused him of... everything you wrote was a misquote or perversion of what he wrote... the first thing you apparently missed is that he is quoting polls... there is no use saying he's wrong about who we do and don't trust because he is quoting poll numbers. Second, these polls involve American institutions... so of course you accuse him of endorsing Taliban, Hamas, etc... Newsflash.. the reason we trust American men with guns is because they our defending our lives with those guns, while risking their own.

Justin: It's really cute that you're attempting to give Thomas Sowell a lesson on inflation. However, he never said that an increase in price = inflation. But, since rising prices are a symptom of inflation, the fact that they are not rising (according to Sowell) is an indicator of low inflation. Yes, the government can inflate the money supply. But businesses and persons can deflate the money supply by saving. And that's what's happenning here. A hesitance to spend on the part of those who've received "stimulus". And saving on the part of companies who are afraid to spend, which is offsetting the "simulus" that is being spent. Verdict: The Obama administration's policies have become so anti-business that they've sabotaged both...

The Doritos Ad Was Not Funny

Alright, this is what makes conservatives look silly at times. I like you, Dennis. I also like Sarah Palin, but when she called out Rahm Emanuel for saying the "r-word" and didn't call out Rush Limbaugh, she looked foolish. Recently Planned Parenthood, after decrying the Tebow commercial as offensive, had to dig to come up with the complaint that the commercial, in which Tebow jokingly tackled his mom, incited violence against women. Ridiculous right? This is how you're coming across. Everyone knows kids aren't supposed to slap adults, and the shock value was what made it funny to many people. You're over simplifying something that is highly subjective...humor. When conservatives harp on something so silly, it makes us look like we're...
