Cello Notes

This column was a near-perfect description of my travels with the violin over the past 6 months. Though I've played piano and flute for 45 years, a stringed instrument is a completely different animal. I check my ego at the door when going to lessons! Learning a new instrument is humbling, brain-feeding, emotionally satisfying and just plain fun - and I recommend it to anyone at any age. I enjoyed reading your column.
